Recreation program focuses on individual player development and the enjoyment of the game of soccer
The Deptford Soccer Association (DSA) Recreation program focuses on individual player development and the enjoyment of the game of soccer - not on winning games. We believe it is important for our players, parents and coaches to embrace this philosophy for it is an important foundation of DSA.
The Recreation program includes the following programs:
U3-U4: Parent/Player introduction to soccer with fun games.
U5: Academy style, non-results, team-based developmental program.
U6-U7: Prepare for Pre-Futures and Futures while maintaining fun and development.
U8-U10: Team-oriented program promoting fun and player development.
U11-U13: Team-based program for those who want to continue playing soccer but not at a travel or premier level.
These programs are hosted in the Fall (September-November) and Spring (March-June) seasons.
**The DSA Recreation program does not permit carded travel players to participate at the recreation level.
**Requested practice times made during registration are not guaranteed.
In addition to the above programs, DSA also offers extra training and winter leagues for recreational players. All are age specific and can be found on our Camps and Clinics page.

Registration & Fees
At SDS Premier in collaboration with Deptford Premier, our Youth Premier Soccer Program stands as the pinnacle of our commitment to excellence, focusing on providing a transformative and elite soccer experience for young athletes. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of success, where every player is not only equipped with top-tier technical skills but also empowered to become resilient, collaborative, and impactful individuals both on and off the field.
REGISTRATION REFUND REQUESTS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
ONCE REGISTERED, ANY REQUEST OF REFUND WILL BE 50% OF WHAT HAS BEEN PAID TO DATE OF THE REGISTRATION FEE. ONCE CARDED, 25% OF THE REGISTRATION FEE WILL BE REFUNDED.
ONCE THE TEAM PLAYS 2 GAMES, IF THE PLAYER PARTICIPATED OR NOT, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS POLICY AS IT SEVERELY AFFECTS THE TEAMS BUDGET FOR THE YEAR.
